Xinxing Elementary School is a six-class elementary school with an attached kindergarten, located in a Hakka community that the school actively supports through Hakka-culture promotion. Its campus sits at the foot of Chepinglong Mountain, nestled between two streams that feed toward the Zhuoshui River. A new school building was completed in March 2013.
