National Shuili Vocational High School of Commerce and Industry was founded on July 1, 1996 as a provincial school, and was upgraded to national status in February 2000. As Shuili Township's only public senior high school, it trains local youth for trades tied to the township's historic role as a logging and timber transshipment hub near the old Checheng lumber depot. The school offers vocational programs including culinary management, electrical engineering, and information technology, and built a cultural arts center in 2008.
國立水里高級商工職業學校於1996年（民國85年）7月1日創校，初為省立學校，2000年（民國89年）2月改制為國立。作為水里鄉唯一的公立高中，學校培育在地青年投入與水里鄉木業轉運小鎮歷史一脈相承的各項技職領域，鄰近舊車埕木材集散地。學校開設餐飲管理、電機工程與資訊科技等職業類科，並於2008年落成藝文中心。
