From farmland roots to the tech park's edge.
Shuangxi Elementary was founded on April 1, 1931 as Shuangxi Public School, during the Japanese colonial era. It was renamed Shuangxi National School after Taiwan's 1945 retrocession and took its current name in 1968. The school added special education services in 1981, an attached kindergarten in 1985, and a school lunch program in 1994. Today its campus spans over 3.2 hectares with roughly 300 students, and its gate features a distinctive orange knife-shaped pillar design.
