Shoushan Senior High School traces its roots to 1960, when it began as the Guishan branch of Wenchang Junior High School. It became an independent junior high in 1964, was converted into a senior high school in 2009, and took its current name after an administrative restructuring in 2018. Today it enrolls roughly 1,840 students across 54 classes, combining a general academic track with three vocational programs in International Trade, Advertising Design, and Applied English.
