A century of teaching in Magong's outlying villages.
Shiquan Elementary began in September 1920 as a satellite classroom of Magong Public School, and in 1922 merged with satellite classrooms from Anzhai and Wen'ao at its current site. It became an independent school in 1932 as "馬公第二公學校" (Magong's Second Public School), was renamed Shiquan National School in 1945, and took its current name in 1968. The school has since celebrated its 100th anniversary, and its district covers Shiquan, Caiyuan, Qianliao, and Guanghua villages in a rural, outlying part of Magong.
石泉國小於日治大正9年（1920年）9月創立，最初為馬公公學校的衛星教室，並於大正11年（1922年）與案山、文澳的衛星教室合併於現址。昭和7年（1932年）獨立設校，稱「馬公第二公學校」，民國34年（1945年）更名為石泉國民學校，民國57年（1968年）定名為現名。學校已慶祝建校百年，學區涵蓋石泉、菜園、前寮、光華等馬公市郊偏鄉里別。
