Shilin Junior High School

Shilin Junior High School was founded in September 1946 as "Taipei County Shilin Junior High School," following a 1945 petition by local Shilin residents to the Taipei County government. It began with just two classes, making it one of the earliest post-war junior high schools established in the Shilin area. The school passed through several administrative parents over the decades — Taipei County, then the Yangmingshan Management Bureau, then Taipei City — before being renamed "Taipei Municipal Shilin Junior High School" in 1973/1974, reflecting Shilin's own complicated mid-20th-century administrative history.

士林國中創立於民國35年（1946年）9月，初名「臺北縣立士林初級中學」，源於1945年士林地方仕紳向臺北縣政府的陳情設校。創校之初僅設兩班，是戰後士林地區最早成立的國中之一。學校歷經臺北縣、陽明山管理局、臺北市等多次行政隸屬變更，最終於民國62、63年間（1973、1974年）更名為「臺北市立士林國民中學」，見證了士林地區20世紀中期複雜的行政沿革。
