Taipei Municipal University Affiliated Experimental Elementary School

Taipei Municipal University Affiliated Experimental Elementary School was founded on February 13, 1913, under Japanese rule as "the Attached Elementary School of the Governor-General's National Language School." Over the following century, the school changed its name roughly a dozen times as its parent normal-school and teachers'-college institution was repeatedly reorganized — through a Japanese-era teacher training school, the postwar Taipei Women's Normal School, and Taipei Municipal Teachers College, before finally arriving at its current name in 2013 alongside the founding of the University of Taipei. With over 110 years of continuous operation, it functions today as the laboratory and affiliated elementary school for the University of Taipei's teacher-education programs.

市大附小創立於大正2年（1913年）2月13日，日治時期原名「臺灣總督府國語學校附屬小學校」。逾百年來，隨著其上級師範學校／教育大學體制多次改組，校名歷經約十餘次更迭——從日治時期師範學校，到戰後臺北女子師範學校、臺北市立教育大學，直至2013年臺北市立大學成立後定名為現名。本校持續運作逾110年，現為臺北市立大學師資培育課程之附設實驗小學。
