Shenmei Elementary School

Shenmei Elementary was founded in 1998, one of the newer schools in Keelung's Xinyi District. Locally, it is known as a "forest elementary school" (森林小學) for its open-classroom teaching style and its natural campus setting. The school's facilities include a library, gymnasium, computer room, a semi-outdoor covered court, a distinctive children's playground, and a swimming pool. Its stated vision emphasizes diversity, autonomy, cooperation, and excellence, and its students have competed successfully in Keelung's mayor's cup track and field competitions.

深美國小創立於1998年（民國87年），是基隆市信義區較新設立的學校之一。當地人稱其為「森林小學」，以開放式教學風格及自然的校園環境聞名。校內設施包括圖書館、體育館、電腦教室、半戶外雨天球場、特色兒童遊戲場及游泳池。學校秉持「多元、自主、合作、卓越」的辦學願景，學生亦曾在基隆市長盃田徑競賽中取得優異成績。
