Shengping Junior High School

Shengping Junior High began in 1970 as the 'Neipu Branch' (內埔分部) of Zhuqi Junior High School, serving seven villages — Neipu, Shengping, Taoyuan, Baiqi, Tangxing, Ziyun, and Yilong. It became an independent school, Chiayi County Shengping Junior High School, on August 1, 1972. The school teaches across nine academic domains — Chinese, English, math, science, social studies, arts, and technology — and its guidance office provides career counseling alongside a technical/vocational arts curriculum. Students have earned recent recognition in language competitions and art exhibitions in 2024 and 2025.

昇平國中前身為民國59年（1970年）設立的竹崎國中內埔分部，服務內埔、昇平、桃源、白杞、塘興、紫雲、義隆七個村里。民國61年（1972年）8月1日獨立設校，定名嘉義縣立昇平國民中學。學校教學涵蓋國文、英語、數學、自然、社會、藝術、科技等九大學習領域，輔導室提供生涯輔導，並開設技藝教育課程。近年學生在語文競賽與美術展覽屢有佳績（2024-2025年）。
