Shengou Elementary School serves Shengou Village, a community that has become one of Taiwan's best-known clusters of young organic farmers since the movement began around 2013. The school runs an attached kindergarten and is supported by its own dedicated educational foundation (財團法人深溝國小教育基金會), along with a strong disaster-preparedness curriculum. In 2017, the school hosted "深溝亂譚," a public forum showcasing the village's growing community of young organic farmers to a wider audience.
