尚仁國民小學前身為七堵國民小學的分校，於民國54年（1965年）9月獨立設校。校址鄰近基隆河與鶯歌溪匯流處，校內一座特色溜滑梯遊具頗負盛名，除了服務在地學童外，也吸引許多親子家庭前來造訪。
