Longteng Branch School is a very small, remote campus of Yuying Elementary School, with only about 19 students. Set within a scenic, richly forested part of Sanyi Township, the school makes the most of its small size and natural surroundings, running Hakka theater and opera programs and hosting an annual student creative-works exhibition. It also partners with the nearby Sanyi Huoyanshan Ecology Museum for hands-on plant and ecology field lessons.
