Sanjiang Elementary School opened in September 1956, originally as a branch related to the lineage that became Longgang Elementary School, before achieving full independence in September 1963. Under its motto of "diligent learning, information technology, arts," the school serves Sanjia Village on the Dongshi coastal plain, running online classrooms for all six grades and a local-language achievement network that supports Taiwanese and other native-language education.
三江國小創立於民國45年（1956年）9月，最初與後來獨立設校的龍港國小系統有分校淵源，於民國52年（1963年）9月完全獨立設校。學校秉持「勤學、資訊、藝術」的校訓，服務東石海岸平原上的三家村，開設一至六年級線上教室，並經營本土語言成果網，支持台語等母語教育。
