Ruixing Elementary School

Ruixing Elementary School began as a branch classroom in 1970, grew into a branch campus in 1971, and became a fully independent school in 1975. In its early years, the school was classified as a remote-area institution, but as infrastructure and connectivity improved, it was reclassified to plains-area status in 1991. Today Ruixing remains a small school, with roughly 70 elementary students and about 21 kindergarten students, and it places particular emphasis on environmental education and reading programs.

瑞興國小最初於民國59年（1970年）以分班形式成立，民國60年（1971年）升格為分校，民國64年（1975年）正式獨立設校。創校初期學校被列為偏遠地區學校，隨著基礎建設與交通改善，於民國80年（1991年）改列為平地學校。如今瑞興國小仍是一所小型學校，約有70名國小學生及21名幼兒園學生，並特別著重環境教育與閱讀推廣課程。
