The mother school of Puxin.
Ruipu Elementary was established in March 1928 as a branch campus of Yangmei Elementary, becoming an independent school in March 1933 under the name "Caonanpo Public School." It was later renamed "Dahe National School," and took its present name, Ruipu Elementary School, in August 1952 — a name it has kept ever since. Nearly a century old, the school also spun off two branch campuses of its own: Gaorong (established 1946, independent 1953) and Ruimei (established 1966, independent 1970), making Ruipu the founding "mother school" for several elementary schools across Yangmei's Puxin area.
