A crossroads school with roots in 1933.
Ren'ai Zhongzheng Elementary traces its origins to 1933, when it began under Japanese rule as the "Guokeng Aboriginal Children's Education Institute." It became an independent school, Zhongzheng National School, in 1953. Sitting at the junction of Ren'ai, Puli, and Yuchi townships, the school serves a small Bunun Takbanuath community, and in 2005 it was designated a key indigenous-education school.
