Lushan Elementary began in May 1947 as a branch of Pingjing National School, becoming an independent school in September 1953. It was renamed Lushan Elementary in 1968. Located in Jingying Village near the well-known Lushan hot springs area, the school's curriculum today includes bilingual education alongside food and agricultural instruction.
