⚔️

The district name "Cianjhen" (前鎮) dates to the Ming dynasty, when a vanguard garrison of Koxinga's forces — 宣毅前鎮 — settled here to farm the land and guard the coast. The school's very name carries that centuries-old military history forward. See the Kaohsiung county page for more on the region.
