⚔️ A District Named for a Garrison
地名源於軍屯
The school takes its name from Cianjhen, a district whose name dates to the Ming dynasty, when Koxinga's vanguard troops settled here to farm and defend the coast.
A district named for a vanguard garrison.
The district name "Cianjhen" (前鎮) dates to the Ming dynasty, when a vanguard garrison of Koxinga's forces — 宣毅前鎮 — settled here to farm the land and guard the coast. The school's very name carries that centuries-old military history forward. See the Kaohsiung county page for more on the region.
