More than a school — a community hub in Caoya.
Cianjhen Junior High School was founded in 1965 in Caoya (草衙), one of the historic hamlets of old Cianjhen. Today the campus hosts a branch of the Kaohsiung Public Library, and the school has been designated both the city's Indigenous Resource Center and a marine-education school, reflecting its role as a community hub as much as a place of instruction.
