Qianfeng Elementary opened on September 1, 1950, as "Kaohsiung County Gangshan Town Qianfeng National School," taking its current name, Qianfeng National Elementary School, in 1968. Today the school has 34 classes, 785 students, and 65 teachers, serving families in the historic Qianfeng neighborhood of Gangshan District.
