Puzi Elementary School

Puzi Elementary's history reaches back to September 8, 1898, when it began as a branch teaching site of the Chiayi Mandarin Training Institute, first using a borrowed church building, then Peitian Temple (配天宮) and Anfu Temple (安福宮), before a dedicated campus was completed in 1905. It was renamed Puzi Public School in 1921 and stands today as the oldest school in Puzi, celebrating its 127th anniversary in 2025. As the town's founding school, it served as the 'mother school' for several other Puzi campuses that began as its branches, including Datong (a girls' branch from 1923), Songmei (a 1913 branch), and Zhucun (a 1927 branch known as 鴨母寮分教場). The school offers calligraphy instruction, digital learning, international education programs, and wrestling and string ensemble teams, alongside an attached kindergarten.

朴子國小校史可追溯至明治31年（1898年）9月8日，最初為嘉義國語傳習所樸仔腳分教場，先借用教會建築上課，其後移至配天宮、安福宮，直至民國前7年（1905年）建成專屬校舍。民國10年（1921年）改稱朴子公學校，是朴子地區歷史最悠久的學校，於2025年歡慶127週年校慶。作為朴子的創始學校，本校是多所朴子學校的「母校」，包括大同國小（1923年女子分校）、松梅國小（1913年分校）、竹村國小（1927年鴨母寮分教場）等皆源自本校分校。學校提供書法教學、數位學習、國際教育課程，以及角力隊與絃樂團，並附設幼兒園。
