A century built on community generosity.
Xinan Elementary traces its roots to 1922, when it began as a branch classroom of Puli Public School on land donated by local Puli residents — marking its 101st anniversary in recent years. The school rebuilt significant portions of its campus after 921 earthquake damage between 2001 and 2003. Today it is known for a strong outdoor education and mountain wilderness training curriculum, alongside traditional Japanese taiko drumming and indigenous dance programs.
