National Puli Vocational Senior High School was established in September 1953 as Puli Junior Agricultural Vocational School. It became a provincial agricultural vocational school in 1968, switched its focus to industrial trades in 1974, and gained national status in 2000. Today the school offers eight departments, including Mechanical, Electrical, Information Technology, Architecture, and Chemical Engineering, and has been designated a "Taiwan Indigenous Focus School."
國立埔里高工創立於民國42年(1953年)9月,初名「埔里初級農業職業學校」,1968年改制為省立農業職業學校,1974年轉型為工業類科,2000年改隸國立。學校現設有機械、電機、資訊、建築、化工等八個科系,並獲指定為「臺灣原住民重點學校」。
