Hongren Junior High School

Hongren Junior High opened on August 1, 1970, with nine classes, initially borrowing classrooms at Nanguang Elementary before moving to its own campus on November 27, 1970. Three major buildings were destroyed in the catastrophic 1999 921 earthquake; the school was rebuilt with Tzu Chi Foundation support and reopened in March 2002. The rebuilt campus won the "921 Campus Reconstruction Special Award" and the 4th Far East Architecture Award. Today the school serves about 895 students on a 5.8-hectare campus.

宏仁國中於民國59年（1970年）8月1日以九班之規模開校，初期借用南光國小教室上課，同年11月27日遷入自有校地。三棟主要建物於1999年921大地震中倒塌，經慈濟基金會援建後於2002年3月復校，重建校園並榮獲「921校園重建特別獎」與第四屆遠東建築獎肯定。現有學生約895人，校地面積5.8公頃。
