A campus without walls, built on local farmland.
Puding Elementary is a small rural school of roughly 32 staff and 151 students, serving the Puding and Jiudou communities of Xinwu District. Rather than a conventional campus, the school has deliberately built its curriculum around the agricultural resources of its surroundings — the Changxiang Wugu Shennong Temple, an educational farm, a pheasant and exotic-bird garden, a rice-wine distillery, and an organic vegetable farm — developing itself as an environmental-education and eco-tourism hub for the Xinwu area.
