About · 學校簡介

Rooted in one of Pingzhen's oldest Hakka villages.

Pingnan Junior High was established in 1979 as Taoyuan County Pingnan Junior High School, serving the Nanshi (南勢) area — one of Pingzhen's earliest-settled Hakka communities and the namesake of the district's oldest elementary school. An attached supplementary night-school division was added in 1988, and the school was renamed a municipal institution in 2014 following Taoyuan County's upgrade to special-municipality status. By 2016 enrollment had grown to roughly 1,383 students across 48 classes. The school operates under the motto "恭勤實健" — Respectful, Diligent, Honest, Healthy.
