National Pingtung Senior High School

National Pingtung Senior High School, affectionately known as "Pingzhong" (屏中), was founded in 1938 during the Japanese colonial era as Takao Prefectural Pingtung Middle School. It became a national (國立) school in 2000 after Taiwan's provincial government reorganization. Today it enrolls around 1,791 students in 57 classes with 126 teachers, and is well known for its athletics program, including a baseball team with multiple runner-up finishes and a basketball team that has won the high school league championship four times.

國立屏東高級中學，在地人暱稱「屏中」，創校於昭和13年（1938年）日治時期，前身為「高雄州立屏東中學校」。民國89年（2000年）精省後改制為國立高中。現有學生約1,791人，共57班，教師126人，以體育表現聞名，棒球隊屢獲亞軍，籃球隊更四度奪得高中聯賽冠軍。
