Zhongzheng Junior High School

Zhongzheng Junior High was founded in 1968 (ROC 57), the year Taiwan's nine-year compulsory education system began, becoming Magong's second junior high school. Built on 3.8 hectares, it was at the time the only junior high in Penghu with a three-story building, and it constructed a dormitory known as "Yuying Studio" (育英齋) specifically to house students commuting from the county's outlying islands. To serve those scattered communities further, the school opened a Pengnan branch campus in 1970 (independent by 1974) and a branch on remote Hujing Island in 1978. The campus was fully rebuilt between 1993 and 1996, adding a new campus with a courtyard garden.

中正國中創立於民國57年（1968年），正值台灣實施九年國民義務教育之年，為馬公市第二所國中。校地達3.8公頃，當時是全澎湖唯一擁有三層樓校舍的國中，並特別興建「育英齋」宿舍，供離島學生住宿就讀。為服務分散各島的學子，學校於民國59年（1970年）成立澎南分校（民國63年獨立設校），並於民國67年（1978年）在虎井嶼設立分班。民國82年至85年（1993-1996年）間全面重建校舍，新校園並設有中庭花園。
