An arts-and-athletics school in the heart of Magong.
Zhongzheng Elementary was established in August 1967 and took its current name the following year. In 1985 it opened an art education class — still the only dedicated art-education class among Penghu County's elementary schools — and it has since built a reputation for both artistic and athletic achievement, running a traditional Chinese music ensemble alongside a basketball team that placed third at the 2024 National Elementary School Basketball Championship.
中正國小創校於民國56年（1967年）8月，隔年定名為中正國小。民國74年（1985年）設立美術班，至今仍是全澎湖縣國小唯一的美術班，學校也因此發展出藝術與體育並重的特色，除設有國樂團外，籃球隊更於2024年全國國小籃球錦標賽中獲得季軍佳績。
