Zhongshan Elementary School

Zhongshan Elementary began life on March 1, 1948, as the "Naval Second Shipyard Employees' Children's School," educating the children of naval shipyard workers stationed in Magong. As Penghu's county government took over local education administration, the school passed into county hands and was renamed Zhongshan Elementary around 1965–1968. Today it is a small neighborhood school in Anshan Village, on the edge of Magong City, with roughly 160 students and 17 teachers.

中山國小的前身，是民國37年（1948年）3月1日成立的「海軍第二造船廠員工子弟學校」，最初專為駐守馬公的海軍造船廠員工子女提供教育。隨著澎湖縣政府接管地方教育行政，學校於民國五十年代後期改隸縣府並更名為中山國小。如今，這所座落於馬公市案山里的學校，是一所小型的社區學校，約有160名學生與17位教師。
