Nuanxi Elementary School

Nuanxi Elementary is one of Keelung's youngest elementary schools, officially established in August 2005 after being spun off from neighboring Nuannuan Elementary, one of the city's three century-old schools. Preparation for the split began roughly in 1998, meaning the school took shape over several years before finally opening its own doors. Since then, Nuanxi has built a reputation of its own — including a notable baseball team recognized in Taiwan baseball records.

暖西國小是基隆市最年輕的國小之一，於民國94年（2005年）8月正式從鄰近的百年老校暖暖國小分割獨立設校。分校籌備工作最早可追溯至1998年左右，歷經數年籌劃才正式開學。設校以來，暖西國小也建立起自己的特色，包括在台灣棒球紀錄中頗具知名度的棒球隊。
