National Pingtung University of Science and Technology

National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) traces its roots to April 1924, when it was founded during the Japanese colonial period as the Kaohsiung District Pingtung Extension School of Agriculture. It was renamed and expanded in 1928, restructured into a vocational junior college in 1991, and finally upgraded to full university status in August 1997 under its current name. Over a century after its founding, NPUST remains one of Taiwan's oldest agricultural education institutions, now home to a full range of colleges spanning agriculture, engineering, management, humanities, and veterinary medicine, together with an International College.

國立屏東科技大學的歷史可追溯至日治時期民國13年（1924年）4月創立的「高雄州立屏東農業補習學校」。1928年擴大改制，1991年改制為專科學校，並於民國86年（1997年）8月正式升格為大學，即現今校名。歷經百年發展，屏科大是台灣歷史最悠久的農業教育機構之一，現設有農學院、工學院、管理學院、人文暨社會科學院、獸醫學院及國際學院等。
