Niaoyu Junior High School

Niaoyu Junior High was independently established in 2006, becoming the only junior high school on Niaoyu Island — a remote islet off Baisha Township surrounded entirely by sea. It is an exceptionally small school, with around three classes and roughly ten students in total. Its school motto emphasizes "health and happiness, diverse innovation, mutual help and community spirit," values suited to the tight bonds of island life. A former principal, Huang Ming-guang, was recognized nationally as an exemplary educator for his dedicated work on this remote island.

鳥嶼國中於民國95年（2006年）獨立設校，是鳥嶼——白沙鄉外海一座四面環海的離島——上唯一的國中。學校規模極小，僅約3個班級、全校學生約10人。校訓強調「健康快樂、多元創新、互助合作」，正呼應離島生活緊密相依的社區精神。曾任校長黃明光曾獲全國表揚，肯定其在離島偏鄉教育的奉獻。
