Neiwan Elementary School

Neiwan Elementary traces its roots to a Japanese-era branch of Da Du Public School and recently celebrated its 80th anniversary, though the exact founding year is not firmly documented. The school sits directly within Neiwan, Hengshan Township's famous old street and tourist hub on the historic Neiwan branch railway line — making it a visible community anchor for the many visitors who pass through. Its curriculum reflects that setting, blending music, art, calligraphy, and Japanese taiko drumming with Hakka-language instruction and international exchange partnerships with schools in Japan.

內灣國小的前身可追溯至日治時期大肚公學校的分教場，近年曾舉辦創校80週年慶祝活動，確切創校年份尚待考證。學校座落於內灣老街——橫山鄉在舊內灣支線鐵路上最富盛名的觀光景點——的核心地帶，是往來旅客眼中鮮明的社區地標。課程也呼應這樣的地理位置，融合音樂、美術、書法與日本太鼓，並結合客家語教學與日本學校的國際交流活動。
