Nanzih Senior High was established on March 20, 2003, and began enrolling students that August. It operates as a comprehensive high school, without separate academic and vocational tracks, on a campus of about 5.7 hectares with 30 classes, including three dedicated sports classes in taekwondo, track and field, cycling, and five-a-side football. The school has been led since August 2020 by principal Ho Ching-yi.
楠梓高中創立於民國92年（2003年）3月20日，同年8月正式招生。學校採綜合高中學制，不分普通科與職業科，校地約5.7公頃，共30班，其中包含跆拳道、田徑、自由車、五人制足球等3個體育班。現任校長何景怡自民國109年（2020年）8月起接任。

Nanzih Senior High's founding reflects a period of rapid growth for the district in the early 2000s, when the "senior high/vocational school localization" policy aimed to let students in expanding suburban districts like Nanzih attend school without a long commute into central Kaohsiung.
