Nanzhuang Elementary School

Nanzhuang Elementary School opened on December 8, 1898, in Taiwan's Japanese colonial era, with classes beginning January 28, 1899, under the name "Nanzhuang Public School" (南庄公學校). It is the oldest school in Nanzhuang Township, with over 120 years of history. Its Tianmei satellite classroom became an independent Tianmei National School in 1946. A new campus building was dedicated in 2019 for the school's 122nd anniversary, and today the school sits in the historic town center near the well-known Nanzhuang Old Street.

南庄國小創立於1898年（明治31年）12月8日，日治時期，1899年1月28日正式開學，初名「南庄公學校」。是南庄鄉歷史最悠久的學校，創校逾120年。其田美分教場於1946年獨立設校為田美國民學校。2019年為慶祝建校122週年，學校啟用新校舍，如今學校位於歷史悠久的南庄老街周邊、鎮上的歷史核心地帶。
