Nanxing Elementary School

Nanxing Elementary School began in September 1953 as a single-class branch of Nan'an Elementary School (南安國校六嘉分班), was upgraded to a full branch campus in 1955, and became an independent school — “Anding Township Nanxing National School” — in May 1957. Today it is a small school of about 378 students and staff across 14 classes. The school runs a long-running recycling and waste-sorting program integrated into daily teaching and campus life, and its landscaped, greened grounds have become a de facto community park used by local residents for recreation and exercise.

南興國小的前身為民國42年（1953年）9月成立的「南安國校六嘉分班」，單班設置；民國44年（1955年）升格為完全分校，民國46年（1957年）5月正式獨立設校，定名「安定鄉南興國民學校」。目前學校規模不大，學生與教職員合計約378人，共14個班級。校內長年推動融入日常教學的資源回收與垃圾分類計畫，綠意盎然的校園也已成為當地居民日常散步、運動的社區公園。
