Zhangxing Elementary was founded on July 3, 1991, and began operating in 1994 when neighboring Zhanghe Elementary transferred 245 students to help establish it. As one of Nantou City's newer schools, Zhangxing has built its identity around an 'English Passport' learning system and an mBlock programming platform, while maintaining a firm 'zero rejection of enrollment' policy for students with disabilities.
漳興國小創立於民國80年（1991年）7月3日，於民國83年（1994年）正式開始招生辦學，當時漳和國小移撥245名學生協助設校。作為南投市較新設立的學校，漳興發展出「英語護照」學習系統與mBlock程式教育平台等特色，並堅持身心障礙學生「零拒絕」的融合教育理念。
