Nanrong Elementary School

Nanrong Elementary was founded on April 1, 1931 as "Keelung No.4 Public School," located in the Shiyinggang area of what is now Ren'ai District. It was renamed "Takigawa Public School" in 1933 after the local place name, then became "Takigawa National School" in 1941. After the Second World War it was renamed "Ren'ai District No.2 National School," then "Nanrong National School" in 1946, before taking its current name in 1968 — by which point it had grown to 46 classes and 2,362 students. Today Nanrong Elementary also serves as the keeper of the historical records of nearby Shangzhi Elementary School, which closed in 2020.

南榮國小創立於1931年（昭和6年）4月1日，前身為「基隆第四公學校」，位於今仁愛區獅嶺岡地區。1933年（昭和8年）因地名改稱「瀧川公學校」，1941年（昭和16年）改為「瀧川國民學校」。二戰後改名「仁愛區第二國民學校」，1946年（民國35年）改稱「南榮國民學校」，1968年（民國57年）定名南榮國小，當時已發展至46班、2,362名學生的規模。如今南榮國小也保存了2020年廢校的尚智國小之校史文物。
