About · 學校簡介

Over a century on Feiyan Mountain.

Nanpu Elementary School opened in 1915, in Taiwan's Japanese colonial era, as a satellite classroom of Sanwan Public School serving "Da-Nanpu." It became the independent "Da-Nanpu Public School" in 1922, was renamed a national school in 1941, and took its current name, Nanpu Elementary School, in 1968. The school's original catchment area was administratively transferred from Sanwan to Nanzhuang Township in 1921. Today, with over a century of history, the school sits on "Feiyan Mountain" (飛燕山) in Nanpu village, an area known for its scenic terraced rice paddies and eco-tourism.
