🚜 Built on Farmland History
南隆農場拓墾史
The school takes its name from Nanlong Farm (南隆農場), a Japanese-era agricultural colonization settlement — a reminder of Meinong's long farming history.
Rooted in a Hakka farming settlement.
Nanlong was originally the site of Nanlong Farm (南隆農場), a Japanese-era agricultural colonization settlement in Meinong. The name still marks this part of the district today, reflecting Meinong's long-standing identity as one of Kaohsiung's key Hakka farming communities. See the Kaohsiung county page for more on the region.
