Nan'ao Elementary is a small school — about 63 students as of 2023 — where nearly all students are Atayal Indigenous. Guided by the motto "Starting from Love, Exploring the Self, Creating the Future through Play," the school used a NT$2 million Ministry of Education cultural-space grant to build a traditional Atayal ancestral house at the school entrance. Its basketball team has performed Atayal dance internationally, including trips to Germany and Bulgaria.
南澳國小是一所小型學校，民國112年（2023年）約有63名學生，幾乎全為泰雅族原住民。學校秉持「從愛出發，探索自我，玩出未來」的理念，運用教育部200萬元文化空間補助，在校門口建造傳統泰雅族祖屋。學校籃球隊曾在德國與保加利亞等海外演出泰雅族舞蹈。
