National Minsyong Senior Agricultural & Industrial Vocational School

National Minsyong Senior Agricultural & Industrial Vocational School was founded on December 22, 1936, under Japanese rule as "嘉義郡民雄莊外九個莊組合嘉義郡農業國民學校," established by Toyoshima Takatoku. The school is approaching its 90th anniversary, with a celebration planned for January 2026, and its long lineage includes becoming a specialized agricultural school in 1941, reorganizing as a county junior vocational school after Taiwan's 1945 retrocession, separating into Chiayi County's own school in 1951, upgrading to a full agricultural vocational school in 1958, becoming a Taiwan-provincial school in 1987, and finally a national school in 2000. Today it offers both industrial tracks — electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive, biomechatronics — and agricultural tracks such as food processing and horticulture, alongside motorcycle maintenance, a sports class, and culinary/food service programs, under the school motto "誠敬勤樸" (Integrity, Respect, Diligence, Simplicity).

國立民雄高級農工職業學校創立於昭和11年（1936年）12月22日，日治時期名為「嘉義郡民雄莊外九個莊組合嘉義郡農業國民學校」，由豐島敬篤創辦。學校即將於2026年1月舉辦建校90週年慶祝活動，其悠久沿革包括：1941年改制為專業農業學校、1945年台灣光復後改組為縣立初級職業學校、1951年獨立為嘉義縣自有學校、1958年升格為完整農業職業學校、1987年改為台灣省立學校，並於2000年升格為國立學校。如今學校設有工業職群（電機、機械、汽車、生物機電）與農業職群（食品加工、園藝），並設有機車修護、體育班及餐飲科，校訓為「誠敬勤樸」。
