A campus built in the shape of a tobacco barn.
Fu'an Elementary School was established on September 1, 1953, taking in transferred students in grades one through five. Its Dongmen branch campus was established in 1962. What sets Fu'an apart today is its architecture: the school's campus buildings are styled after traditional Hakka tobacco-curing barns (菸樓), directly commemorating a form of construction that was once central to Meinong's tobacco-farming economy.
