Meiho University

Meiho University was founded in 1966 as Meiho Junior College of Nursing (美和護理專科學校), Taiwan's first private nursing junior college. It was renamed Meiho Junior College of Nursing and Management in 1990, became Meiho Institute of Technology in 1999, and was finally upgraded to full university status as Meiho University in 2010. Nursing remains the school's flagship department, offering five-year diploma, two-year and four-year bachelor's, and RN-to-BSN completion tracks. The university sits in Neipu Township, in the same township as (and near) National Pingtung University of Science and Technology.

美和科技大學創立於民國55年（1966年），前身為美和護理專科學校，是台灣第一所私立護理專科學校。1990年更名為美和護理管理專科學校，1999年改制為美和技術學院，並於2010年正式升格為美和科技大學。護理科系至今仍是該校的招牌科系，提供五專、二技、四技及二年制在職進修等多種學制。學校位於內埔鄉，與國立屏東科技大學同在一個鄉鎮，兩校相距不遠。
