A newer school for a growing township.
Meibei Elementary was founded on August 1, 2001, to relieve overcrowding and aging facilities at nearby Meishan Elementary, part of a broader government push for smaller schools and class sizes — making it one of the newest schools in this batch. As of the 2025 school year, the school has 12 regular classes plus 1 resource class, with 189-191 total students and 33 staff. Its guiding philosophy is summed up as "keep clean, keep order, be polite, be grateful, be well-read" (愛整潔.
