Manzhou Elementary School is the oldest school in Manzhou Township, with more than 130 years of institutional history. It began on September 10, 1896, as the "Tikasoan branch classroom" (豬朥束分教場) of the Hengchun Language Training Institute. Over the following decades it was renamed several times, reflecting Taiwan's changing eras: it became the independent "Tikasoan Language Training Institute" in 1900, was renamed "Mensuai Public School" in 1905 (based at Mensuai village), became "Manzhou Public School" in 1921, and was renamed again as "Manzhou National School" in 1941. For decades, it was the only school serving the entire Manzhou district before Manzhou Junior High School was founded in 1968.
滿州國小是滿州鄉歷史最悠久的學校，校史超過130年。創立於明治29年（1896年）9月10日，前身為恆春國語傳習所的「豬朥束分教場」。此後歷經數次更名，見證台灣時代的變遷：1900年獨立為「豬朥束國語傳習所」，1905年改稱「蚊蟀公學校」（設址於蚊蟀庄），1921年改為「滿州公學校」，1941年再改名為「滿州國民學校」。在滿州國中於1968年創立之前，這所學校長期是整個滿州學區唯一的學校。
