Luofu Elementary School

Luofu Elementary began in 1963 as a branch class (“拉號分班”) of Jiaoban National School, the forerunner of today's Jieshou Elementary. It became independent in 1971 as “拉號國民小學,” and was renamed 羅浮國民小學 the following year. The school was recognized nationally as early as 1979, featured in the Ministry of Education's “杏壇芬芳錄” (Garden of Educators) and “十步芳草” honor publications. It is widely cited as Taiwan's first Indigenous experimental elementary school (全國第一所原住民實驗小學); the great majority of students and staff are Atayal, and the school actively promotes traditional Atayal cultural transmission. In 2024-25, formally alongside Guanghua and Changxing elementary schools, it converted into a Taoyuan “school-type Indigenous experimental education” institution — Taoyuan's first batch of such schools — in response to declining birth rates. Its bilingual site name, “羅浮Rahaw原住民族實驗小學,” uses “Rahaw,” the Atayal place name, alongside the Mandarin name.

羅浮國小民國52年（1963年）以「拉號分班」創立，隸屬角板國民學校（即今日介壽國小前身），民國60年（1971年）獨立設校為「拉號國民小學」，隔年（1972年）更名「羅浮國民小學」。學校早在民國68年（1979年）即獲全國肯定，入選教育部「杏壇芬芳錄」與「十步芳草」等表揚出版品。學校被廣泛視為「全國第一所原住民實驗小學」，師生絕大多數為泰雅族，並積極推動泰雅傳統文化傳承。民國113至114學年度（2024至2025年），與光華、長興兩校一同正式轉型為桃園市首批「原住民族學校型態實驗教育」學校，以因應少子化衝擊。校名「羅浮Rahaw原住民族實驗小學」並列泰雅語地名「Rahaw」與中文校名。
