National Lo-Tung Industrial Vocational High School

National Lo-Tung Industrial Vocational High School opened in 1967 as the Yilan County Luodong Senior Industrial and Commercial Vocational School, later becoming a national institution in 2000. It remains the only industrial vocational high school in Yilan County. Though closely tied to Luodong by name and history, its campus actually sits in neighboring Dongshan Township, on land once used as a log-storage pond during Luodong's era as one of Taiwan's major lumber-trading centers. The school's rugby team won a national championship in 2008.

羅東高工創立於民國56年（1967年），前身為宜蘭縣立羅東高級工商職業學校，民國89年（2000年）改制為國立學校，是宜蘭縣唯一的高級工業職業學校。雖然校名與歷史皆與羅東緊密相連，校地實際上位於鄰近的冬山鄉，前身為羅東身為台灣木材集散重鎮年代的貯木池用地。該校橄欖球隊曾於2008年奪得全國冠軍。
