A satellite campus that grew into its own school.
Lunping Elementary began as a branch campus of Xinpo Elementary (新坡國小) in August 1975, becoming independent as “Taoyuan County Guanyin Township Lunping Elementary School” in August 1983. Its first principal after independence, Liang Chi-yun (梁杞雲), took office that September. The school added a PU running track, an audio-visual classroom, and a school-history room by May 1997, and began its school lunch program in November 1995.
